Three ways to wear a knitted co-ord

Wear a knitted co-ord as a set, add a tailored layer or split the pieces. Simple outfit ideas, plus the fit details worth checking.

Wear the matching pieces together

A knitted top and trousers need very little around them: start with trainers and a straight-cut coat. Keep accessories simple so the texture has room to stand out. Check the trouser hem with the shoes you actually plan to wear. It should clear the ground rather than bunch beneath your heel.

Add a more structured layer

A tailored jacket and a small bag change the mood of the same set. With a high-neck top, try an open jacket instead of a bulky scarf. Ankle boots can work underneath the trousers if the fabric falls freely over them. Make sure you can move your shoulders comfortably once both layers are on.

Get more from the separates

Wear the knitted top with straight-leg jeans, then pair the trousers with a plain shirt on another day. The change in texture makes each piece feel different. The TRICOT set lists polyester in its composition: a knitted finish does not mean wool. Check the available measurements and follow the garment's care label, rather than relying on your usual size alone.
